firewall for ssh in AIX 4 Years, 2 Months ago
Is it possible to restrict ssh authentication for special subnets, networks or IP addresses in AIX? We have AIX 5.3 ML4. I looked for firewall tools for AIX in the Web. One product I found is IBM Tivoli Access Manager, but I don't think that this is the right tool for my problem. Is it possible to configure my requirements directly in the sshd configuration?
I hope somebody can help me.

Hi,

usually you can achieve this through a paket filter or a TCP wrapper. The appropriate package can be found on the expansion pack CD for AIX. The package containing the wrapper is called netsec.options. If you don't have a CD available, send me a short note.
