wie kann ich die Daten unter GPFS spiegeln?

Ich habe 2 DS5020 und 2 Nodes.
Also,

Standort A: DS5020
Server-1

Standort B: DS5020
Server-2

Die Server bekommen jeweils eine hdisk in gleicher Größe von jeweils der DS5020.
- eine hdisk vom Standort A
- eine hdisk vom Standort B

Die Daten sollen beiden Servern zur Verfügung stehen und sollen erhalten bleiben, wenn eine DS5020 abgeschaltet wird.
(Daten sollen also immmer zwischen den beiden DS5020 gespiegelt sein)

Eine Lizenz zum Spiegeln zwischen den beiden DS5020 besteht nicht.

to do this look for replicas in the GPFS documentation.

Quick summary:
Put the disk into different Failure Groups, one for each Storage Subsystem. Define the Filesystem to have a maximum of two replicas and also set the number of default replicas to two.
For existing files change the file attribute to have two replicas and use the command mmrestripsfs to put this change to work.
GPFS will put the replicas into different failure groups automatically.
For GPFS to work properly you need a third Failure Group for the third mirror of the FS Descriptors.

Um das Ganze zusammenzufassen:

Ein symmetrischer Spiegel ist mit GPFS in der Form NICHT möglich. GPFS erfordert ein Quorum der FileSystem Descriptoren. Um dieses aufrecht zu erhalten wird eigentlich eine dritta Platte an einem unabhängigen Standort benötigt. Ein symmetrischer Spiegel zwischen zwei Boxen ist nicht möglich. Fällt hier die Box mit den 2 Descriptor Kopien aus ist defintiv Schluss.
